First off, a correction: yesterday's total did not include the dinner we fed her at RMDH. So, her overall total was 652 grams!! Not much more and she'll match her birth weight of 730 grams. (And we all remember how teensy that was.)
Today went well. Meemer has been trained and trained and put through all the wringers and did a great job! Daddy's turn is on Thursday and Friday.
They are slowly working up her volume of liquids during the milk session. Right now she's only getting 1ml per trial, which, in case you aren't familiar, isn't much. Barely a baby's spoonful...and even that gives her trouble. She just seems very unorganized with her mouth - she's used to our dumping or squirting liquid in her mouth and pulling away the cup/water bottle/etc, whereas now she is required to drink with the cup staying at her lips. She's just not sure what to do, but she's figuring it out.
Exciting news for tomorrow: they are going to begin teaching her to self-feed with a spoon. I foresee a lot of dumping food on the floor or the tray and fingerpainting....but not for long with behavioral therapists in place. ;)
Today's total: 603 grams!

Glad she is doing so well. Excited to hear how spoon feeding goes!
